Hi everyone

We would like to find a place where you can go on the "stand on ridey thingys with 2 wheels" (my daughter's words). Does anyone know of such a place in Orlando or indeed such a technically named mode of transport !!

Segway is the name you're looking for. I think they run a tour behind the scenes in Epcot using them.

Hi,

It's called a Segway and they do a tour at Epcot see link http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tours-and-experiences/around-the-world-at-epcot/

I think there is also a tour in Celebration.

When we were in Orlando in March we saw Segway tours both in Celebration and Epcot - looks like lots of fun, wouldn't mind having a go.

My friend has been on them and said they were great fun. Her son stopped too sharply, came off and had a nice load of bruises so take care. Would love to do behind the scenes at Epcot - t'is my favourite park

The Segways are brilliant! We did the Around the World at Epcot last year. You get full training and they are easy to ride and we are not young things! As long as you follow the instructors directions it is very difficult to come to any harm.We enjoyed them so much that 4 months later we did a 2hour Segway tour of Gettysburg military park, because we had ridden the Segways on one previous occasion we were looked on as the experienced riders in our party!!
