Winter Park has a couple of nice gardens. There's Mead Botanical gardens and Sculpture gardens. One can combine these with a stroll among the fine shops and the scenic boat ride. You can then spend a nice relaxing day away from all the commercial hubbub.

We did the Leu gardens yesterday. Very nice peaceful day out-a tea shop would have gone down a treat in the gardens as it was very hot and very thirsty-so do take a drink with you.
