It’s a bit rich for me but Iceland Air are offering business class from London or Glasgow to Orlando for £1400 (GB Pounds). It is understood that connections in Iceland are as little as 50 minutes. Bookings via 0207 874 1000. Quote “Business Travel Show offer”.
Hi, we are going with Icelandair ex Glasgow in 5 weeks.
Our flight cost £313.00 and our stop over in Reykjavik
is around 4 hours but we are taken on a free trip to
the Blue Lagoon.
Counting the days.....:D:D

Thanks Kevin! Unfortunately, as a teacher I am tied to school holidays [msnsad] And I don't even have kids yet! Bang go my cheap holidays!
Tink, I think we booked through lastminute.com (or someone like that - I just turn up when I'm told to ;) !!) but actually found it cheaper on the Icelandair site !
We have booked again for September, this time our flights were
£ 445
Kevin, how did you find Icelandair, any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi,
never had a problem-service like most other scheduled airlines, better than some!!-must behave myself & not mention names! wait times for connections don't bother us, we often use 'non' direct flights." years ago flew Lufthansa Birmingham- Franfurt-Miami and still got there earlier most most direct flights from the UK- and a LOT cheaper!

I flew with Icelandair in January from Glasgow and did the Blue Lagoon. £301 on opodo.co.uk. Above the water the temp was subzero, below it was tropical. The flight from Reykjavik to Orlando was busy. In winter they don't fly every day - I missed my flight back (long story) and had to rebook with BA or wait another 3 days for the next Icelandair flight.
