I don't know if it's just me (it could well be!) but since you added the 'when are you going?' bit, I either get two of those or I get two villa owner sections! Not complaining, just puzzled.

It's always been ok for me - anyone else having this problem.

Might it be to do with the Netscape 6 browser you use Blott?

Hmmm...I see you use MS IE 5.x Ruth.

Does it happen all the time or just occasionally? Is there any sequence of events that makes it happens e.g. certain keystrokes etc etc?

I think it is all the time. When these 2 sections are "active topics" they show as being split up!

If it just in Active Topics?

If so, then it's supposed to be like that as the latest posts are shown in date reverse order regardless of what category the thread is in.

It looks okay when I display all the forums so I'm sure you are right John.

When I do 'show active topics' I get 2 Villa Owners General Chat Sections with a section for 'when are you over' between them. Is that the same problem?
In fact a few times I've been on reading postings and I'll go to the next new post and I'll get a message saying you don't have access to this part of the forum. But I'd jst finished reading a Villa Owners post. I just register my details again and its OK. Anyone else get that or is it just my set up.

Hi Ian, no, what you are describing is the same as happens to me. I thinks its normal from what John says, although I don't know how one minute you are logged in, and the next minute you are not and have to log in again!.

It does seem to lose the cookie that it needs to know you are logged in. This only happens very infrequently and I've not figured out the reason yet as the forum code looks ok to me.

That's always happening to me as well. In fact I can go over a page to the next response and have to log in again!

I wish I could consistently replicate the cookie problem as I'd stand a chance of fixing it but from what I can see it happens at random.

Me too.

If you can all bear with us we'll see what we can sort out. If only we could consistently replicate the problem it might give us a clue which part of the forum software to look at (I've already had several good looks at it and found nothing untowards).
