Port Charlotte

It is depemdent on what info you are seeking. Most ov owners homes are in Rotonda West and we use port charlotte for shopping and going to Punta Gorda. It is alos where the county offices are located.
I have to admit i have never been to the beach at Port Charlotte and not overly sure of its location.

The beaches are located at Englewood, Stump Pass, Manasota Key and Gasparilla Island, Boca Grande all of which are north of Port Charlotte.

Golf clubs there are many but do not know the ones near to port charlotte but there will be some.

There is a large mall also at Port Charlotte.

Beach at Port Charlotte is south of Edgwater but it is a very small affair. It is accepted that the beach for Port Charlotte is located is the one at Englewood.

As Lynne has said there are several rental properties in Rotonda West which is 14 miles west of Port Charlotte towards Englewood. An excellent area for discovering the Gulf Coast of Sarasota, Venice, Punta Gorda, Fort Myers and down to Naples.

One of our villas is at Port Charlotte and we love the area. We can watch the dolphins and manatees from our balcony :D Port Charlotte is great for restaurants and shops, really convenient for going to watch a baseball match. Having said that we have never been to the beach there, always choosing to go to Boca Grande or one of the Manasota Key beaches which are just a small drive away.
