God I hate looking for flights- cheapst so far is £669 with Thomas Cook - direct out of Glasgow on 7th July.
Virgin want £900 odd!!
BA come in at £700 odd via London.
I am always seeing folk getting fares for £400 odd- never us!!! even £500 would be great.

Tried Aer Lingus too and thats even more expensive

Any thoughts?

Have you looked at Iceland Air, although I've always found them pricey, I know some people seem to have got good deals. Alternatively you could also look at Continental and US Airways, although you may have to broaden your search to Edinburgh - could be worth the drive through, and I'm sure the genteel folks on the East coast won't bite!

Recently, our best flight prices have come from [ I'm afraid not as they have hotel and car hire links as well ] ( if link allowed !!! )
Given the news today about Tom Cook being £900,000,000 in the red, if buying anything from them, be careful to pay by CC.....

Yeah Thomas Cook was our cheapest option but there's no way I am risking it. Yes I could put it on a CC but more worried about loosing our holiday and not being able to get another flight it they do end up doing under.
TBH I don't think they will go but I'm not willing to rake the chance!!
