After many years of wanting to visit we finally eat here yesterday. Arrived at 4-15 pm and given a table for 8 immediately. Within minutes of our arrival queues were out the door. All but on had steakand OMG they were huge and cooked to perfection. The salad that was mixed at the table though is worthy of comment , being the best I have ever eaten. Wow!! great eating experience. Very happy family.

Monday and Tuesday nights children eat free and they also have happy hour, it can work out a really inexpensive night
Glad you enjoyed it

We need to try Mannys, alweays intend to but never seem to get there! Will make this a priority next trip :D
It's one of our favourite restaurants too. If you call ahead and get your name on the waiting list, then you won't have too long to wait once you've arrived. Check their website for the tel. number.

We also ate at Mannys on sunday - around 5.30pm and did not have to wait too long for a table. We were seated in the extended part of the dining room which they were just opening for the evening.
Great meal as always but I didnt think the new area had as much atmosphere as the old dining room....
Definately will be going! only 13 days to go!

Well it should have been 77 days before My next visit to Manny's .... But.. Decided to meet up with a friend and my niece from California for Thanksgiving - and BA had great prices - so I'm off again in 12 days!!! First restaurant will definitely be Manny's
Jean :) :)
Manny's is always our first port of call the night after we arrive in Florida, just think that they give value for money and their ribs and salad are to die for - best ever but my husband always has to have their 24oz Porterhouse all that meat but he never leaves any on the plate.

Well! The Manny's Sirloin didn't disappoint me!
Neither did the pork chops. I had the full 1lb and could only eat one. Accepted the offer of a box (for the first time ever!) and the other one made us two delicious sandwiches the next day.
The salmon was also wonderful - terrific flavour and very moist. Had that twice.
The top sirloin was also a winner. We both had that and again it was too big to manage in a sitting so we took the rest home in a box (getting good at it now!) and once again had ample for two steak sandwiches the following day.
They are currently running the same offer as last year. If you buy a $100 card then you get a $20 card free. We have already used our free $20 card, but can give the $100 one a hammering in January.
The new Manny's at Winter Haven is also doing very well - I hear! Haven't tried it ourselves yet, but will do in the new year.[msntongue]
We love Manny's too. It's worth a visit just for the salad and warm yeast rolls with cinnamon butter....let alone the wonderful steaks and ribs!

Still haven't tried. We went a couple of times and couldn't even find a carparking space :( Will have to try next time again
Manny's is always our first meal when over in Florida........always the same...ribs and salad.........just lush.
I have to agree that their extension does not have the same atmosphere but you can always wait a little longer and ask to be seated in the main restaurant, we do.

I am in the minority - one of those who is not a fan of Manny's I wouldn't bother to drive there I am afraid .It is too noisy for me to enjoy my meal .

I have read so much about this place, how far away is it from Indian Ridge Oaks?

Hi Margaret
Mannys at Haines City is approximately 30 mins from Indian Ridge Oaks, just jump onto
the I-4 heading towards Tampa, then at Exit 55, take the US-27 heading south, after
about 7 miles southern dunes golf & villas appears on the left, then mannys is another
half mile on the right, next to Aldi.
Enjoy !

well- to each his own, eh? but I'll certainly be there in just over 2 weeks time - lovely salad and great steak! The french onion soup is really good too! Never managed a dessert - although they all look good!

We have just come back from our family home in Southern Dunes and visited the new Mannys in Winter Haven. Now I know the one opposite our turning is quicker but its always so busy so we thought we'd try the new Mannys. There were 8 of in total and although we rang through for a table at 7pm it was another half an hour before we were seated. 3 of us ordered rib combo meals and my mum ordered salmon and the others various chicken and steaks. After 5 minutes the waitress came back and told us they'd ran out of ribs! It was only 7.40pm! Not impressed!!! Anyhow we changed them to steaks and I ordered chicken. All the meals came and my son had ordered a steak medium -well done and it arrived charcoal! They quickly changed it for us and most of the party said their steak was OK nothing special. My chicken was lovely however my mum left her salmon as it was only part cooked. After complaining to our waitress we had a free dessert which was nice but the whole meal cost $170.00 and we were really disappointed and won't be in any rush to return. The table behind us were celebrating a birthday and they too were complaining about their food.
A couple of nights later we visited our local Longhorn Steakhouse and I have to say its 100% better than Manny's, yes you get the atmosphere at Mannys but sometimes you can hardly hear yourself think!

We've had mixed experiences at the Haines City Manny's. When we first went we were bowled over with the steaks but I guess like anything else, it becomes "normal". The last couple of times we've been more annoyed by the wait and the noise than we have been in the past. Overall though, we would recommend it to anyone to try - it's a real experience!
We have been to Manny's a number of times and never been disappointed however this year we are staying at New Port Richey and as good as it is we won't be making that sort of trip. However the other night we came across Cody's Original Roadhouse, I don't know what the deal is here but the two places are so similar. The building and decor, the waitress writing her and the managers name upside down on the table. The bottomless salad bowl, great steaks and the whole ambiance is so similar. The only difference beside the name was the free bucket of peanuts still in shells and the whole floor covered with the used shells. Even though it was the thing to do I felt like a naughty child throwing shells on the floor. I can recommend the food but have no idea what the desserts are like as like Manny's we had no room left.
Has anyone been to Cody's or know if there is a connection between the two.
