Just had a call from our Son his partner has just given birth to a baby girl 8lb 6oz Eloise - our 1st Grandchild, can't wait to visit them, will post a piccy when I get one.

Congratulations Lyn!![clap] Being Grandparents has given us so much joy. You enjoy your Grandchildren far more due to the fact you are not responsible for the daily routine of bringing them up . You have the fun part and you can spoil them . Enjoy every minute as they grow up far too fast.

congratulations Lyn and family xxx super dee duper being grandparents, we get the good bits... my grandaughters are nannys girls... lol we have 9 grandchildren 3 boys and 6 girls
think grandparents are more relaxed and probably have a lot more time for the children as we dont have the rushing around doing school runs/holidays/clothing/feeeding, my kids were always hard work to feed, yet my grandchildren im far more tolerant, and will try hard to get things 'they' would like...lol... i love being a Nanna!

I have just said goodbye to my 4 year old grand daughter after doing my usual Friday child minding stint. She has brought us so much joy over the past four years I am sure you will cherish every moment.
