were we just lucky, very very lucky with harry potter !? we headed to the ride in the castle only to find the queue all the way round to rip saw falls. we decided to leave it for a while and went to the shop for a look around. we stumbled across the locker room at the side of the shop, put our bags in and joined the queue !!!!! saving at least a 2 hr wait, couldnt believe our luck !! we went back quite a few times more and did the same ! worked for us but not really fair, anybody else done this ?

The same thing happens if you do babyswap!! We saved about 2 hrs queuing when we went last summer - I never did work out quite how we'd managed it but one of the staff told us to follow her so we did!!
One to remember this week I think!

The queue outside of the castle is for the lockers - you can bypass this freely by going round the right hand side of the castle into the shop and into the castle itself for the ride.
We made this mistake on our last trip and queued for ages only to find out we were queueing for the lockers (which we didnt need!) Lots of people were also doing this not realising that you could walk to the front providing you didnt have anything to carry on the ride. A few people exchanged some choice words with the IOA staff as it really isnt clear that the queue isnt necessary unless you have things to put into the lockers.
Needless to say after that went straight round to the other entrance lol :D
We only waited 15mins a couple of weeks back.
its the only shop at the castle, head up to the corner, right, and into the shop, lockers are at the back on the left, it saves you waiting for lockers, after which you join the queue for the ride!! but still a bit cheekie, dont tell anyone !!!
