Hi everyone !

Are the price really cheaper on http://www.park-tickets.com/ ??

For a 15 days Universal 5 parks pass by example, the price is the same (217.33 $) than https://tickets.universalstudios.com/ (214.95$)

Any comment ? [msnwink]

Blimey - not another posting about our ticket prices....it's getting hard to keep up with them all [msnwink]

You are talking about less that $2.50 a ticket here Pascal - the Universal site does not include sales tax and perhaps not credit card fees too. Our prices are fully inclusicve of both of these and are thus qquite a bit cheaper.

When buying tickets from the US you have to look at the complete deal and not just the headline price quoted on the site. Almost always you have to add sales tax and credit card fees on top of the price you see. Our tickets are fully inclusive of this so may look slightly higher on first glance but are going to cost you less in the long run in general [msnsmile2]

You have to read the (very) small print on the US website - they do not include tax on their Florida ticket prices so they are approx 10% dearer then park-tickets (and they insist on posting the multi park tickets aswell (minimum charge $3).

Ok for taxes, you are right [msnwink]

About the 3 % fee corresponding to credit card payment, if I use my card to pay I will be charged of the 3% fee in any case ?

Pascal: the point is the credit card charge is already included in our prices as that is the only payment option we take.

The comparable price for the ticket you mention on our site is $200.06 without tax and credit card charges. Universal's site is $214.95. You save almost $15 per ticket with us [msnsmile2]

Just to prove we are cheaper than the other site mentioned here, I've added a new page http://www.park-tickets.com/ComparePrices.aspx to our tickets site which shows our $ prices before sales tax and credit card charges.

We are definitely quite a bit cheaper on all the major tickets I checked

No problem...just thought it was a bit unfair as all the sites we get compared with have rates excluding tax so they look cheap.

Chris, if you've got a Nationwide credit card then you'd save the 2.75% foreign currency transaction fee as Nationwide don't charge you one, if that's what you mean?

We think the prices for tickets are the best ever, we sold some tickets to a guest and saved him quite a lot of money.

you'd think that with all the free information and advice people get from this site they might just consider paying the extra £1.50 and support the people that run it?
