We had 4 rescued sheep On Fri 8 july & when we went to feed them on the Mon morning on of them had given birth to a little black lamb, Which we have called Carys.
They were with a flock of 250 sheep living in terrible conditions. The owner was arested but unfortunetly he died in custody before they could charge him.
Paul O Grady has agreed to pay for transportation to take 33 sheep down to a sanctuary in Kent, Some of the others will be going to a sanctuary in Leicester. The sanctuary in Bromsgrove dooes not have the facilities to keep them all, but at least they will live the rest of their lives been well looked after.
I dont think that we will be eating lamb again in our house again.
