Hi All,
Just returned home from Orlando to see that Alamo has charged me for a tank of fuel even though I opted for uscarhire gold package. I was under the impression that you returned the car empty? Would be grateful if anyone can shed light on this?
Other than that everything else went fine including the Alamo save time option although they still tried the usual sales pitches on upgradeing the vehicle. Uscarehire performed brilliant and done everything as they state may I add. Have emailed them last friday but no reply though.....

If you have a copy of the original agreement from Alamo. Doublecheck that they have not given you enhanced roadside assistance and that you have initialed declined on everything. did you bring it back within the time limits of your agreement. just another thought.
When you email USCARHIRE. email the your documents and a copy of the agreement that you got from Alamo as well so they can look at. Just to make sure it is or is not a fuel charge, and not something else. It is easily remedied if it is a charge for fuel

Hello and thanks for the reply.
Brought it back within the time agreed, just looking at the agreement now and the charges were for : Fuel Service option $71.98 + Airport Acess Fee $7.20 + Sales Tax $5.15 = $84.33 in total.
Does this shed any light on it? I'm confused.........

Having just looked at one of my previous agreement I went to the kiosk just gone and my fuel service option says included.
I also got a slip on my return to confirm that no charges we payable.
If you have gold on your voucher, then yes all fuel is included as well as the airport fee
Email USCARHIRE with your booking reference number and a copy of your agreement from alamo as well as the return slip if you have it. They will confirm exactly if the charges are to be refunded.

Spot on. We can't really discuss individual orders on a public forum due to privacy issues, but we do respond to emails very quickly. Our email is info@uscarhire.co.uk.
