Has anyone tried the Disney mini-Golf, Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland ? I guess these are like the Crazy Golf we have in UK, good for all ages, and thatv Disney will probably do them pretty well ?
Are they included on any of the Ultimate Disney (14day / 21d) tickets or are they always + extra $ ?
Presumably you just turn up and play, or queue a bit in true Disney style ?

Hi
We have played the Disney Winter Summerland lots of times and kids of all ages love it .... we always turn up and pay and I have to say it is the one Disney attraction we have never queued at !

They're nothing short of brilliant and make an absolutely wonderful afternoon's entertainment.

If you only play one, Fantasia is probably the one to go for as it's just classic Disney.

If you play Winter-Summerland, the Winter course has a cooling feel to it on a very hot summer's day.

I don't think you get them included on your theme park tickets. Often they'll have a deal whereby if you play one course you can get a discount (half price usually) if you play another course within a few days.

They're one of Disney's best kept secrets. Great fun!

Keep your reciept (or check it) usually they have a discount on it for another visit.

No they are not included, but in our family a must. Don't dismiss other courses in the area, they are every where. Try Pirates Cove (I think) at the Crossroads, Lake Buena Vista Area.

Disney Prices :- Although subject to change, prices are $12.00 USD per 18-hole round for adults, and $10.00 USD for children 3 to 9 years of age. Both courses are open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Before you play have a look at the carpets!! Some are very worn & poor to put on. If they are go some where else.

If you get one thats been recently re carpeted trythat one. Also even though the non Disney ones may have the same name, they are different layouts.. So try them out.

Have played them but not for many years and remember having a great time - think will have to have another go next time we are out there. Remember one hole had water if you were not careful you got sprayed.

Where is Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland
Fantasia is just off Buena Vista Dr. Think more-or-less opposite Disney Studios and you won't be far wrong.

Winter Summerland is just at the entrance to Blizzard Beach. You use the Blizzard Beach car park for it.

Both are really well signposted once you are within Disney.

We love the Disney mini golf and play all 3 courses fairly often. Pirates Cove is also good fun, both at Crossroads and the one on 192 near the 535.

Like Caroline we usually play in the evenings after a meal.

Well worth a visit.

I get caught by that one every time Jill !! We tend to go in the evening on the way home from dinner, the winterland is quite pretty with the twinkly lights etc ...

Enjoy these as well.

Has anyone done the miniature real golf mini-golf course at Fantasia Gardens, as opposed to the mini-golf mini-golf course ... if that makes sense?

Thought that looked fun last time we were there, but they were re-laying the 'turf'!

We love the Disney miniature golf courses. We play either Winter or Summerland one day and then for half price go back and play Fantasia the next day. There is also a pitch and putt at Fantasia which we've only played once as we have found it quite difficult to get the ball to stop on the artifical grass!!!

We always play pirates cove, and I didn't know Disney had them also! Great fun and also something we enjoy after we have been out to dinner!! How are the prices for Disney golf compared to others? Oh! And I read in the Orlando sentinel a few months ago that universal are also creating a mini golf at citi walk!

For those that have played in the evenings is there a mozzy problem?

caroline

We've only played the Disney courses in the evening, but never had a problem with mossies, despite being plenty of water around, I think they must spray for them.
