Bet you can't wait!

Just got back! [msncry][msncry][msncry] We really enjoyed HP World. It was amazing.

Queues will depend when you go. We were there on Sunday and Monday.
30 mins for main ride on Sunday, with 10 mins or so on Dragon Roller Coaster and Hippogriff. Shops fairly busy, biggest queue was the wand shop.

Monday, less busy, only 15-30 mins for main ride, and 5 mins or no queue for roller coasters. No queues for shops.

There is a restaurant, the Three Broomsticks, which is quite large and serves a variety of 'typical' British fare... with an American slant.....[msnwink] Good old 'Cornish' pasties, and 'fresh' North Atlantic cod, shepherd's pie etc.

Butterbeer is served outside from a couple of kiosks.

Hope you have a great time - am sure you will!

Theres also the Hogs Head Pub which serves drinks though im not sure about food!

Just a point to note, lots of the recognisable settings (hagrids hut, dumbledores office, the greenhouses, whomping willow etc) are tucked away in the queues for rides, so just be aware if you dont go on one of the rides you may miss out on something. We didnt go on the dragon challenge as it knocked my partner sick several years ago and didnt realise that there was lots in the queue to see - i will be making a point to see this next year x

Thanks for that as I don't do rides. Will make sure I am in the queue now (and will have to chicken out at the end!)

When we went, you had to get tickets to actually get into HP world so we went back in the evening and got in fine, didn't even have to queue for duelling dragons.

Queues for this last July were insane! 30 mins to get INTO Honeydukes Olivanders was a case of just ,no don't even think about it! An hour and a half for Forbidden Journey,I imagine that was due to the newness of WWOHP, also was it just the day we went or is it dark and difficult going into Duelling Dragons? Bumped into a barrier at one point swore loudly ( shock honestly! ) only to hear a reply behind me from an American couple who were using me as a guide! :D

We have just returned and the times were very similar to what you have quoted, we did manage to get straight into the Wand shop by going in the back door as we exited the Duelling dragons coaster. I must say the new ride was much better then I anticipated, but the three arachnaphobes with me were a little shaken on there exit.

We were at HP on Monday, queue for the new ride was 90 mins long, queue for Duelling Dragons, 15 mins. Went again on Friday, queue for HP was 30, did the queue and ride within that time, DD 5 mins....so were most of the rides.

The longest we queued was for the wand show - girls enjoyed it and Rachel was picked to 'help' [clap]
