Extending hire period

Hi,

We have just found out that our daughter isn't due back to school in September until two days later than we first thought.

So, we have the opportunity of extending our stay by a couple of days. We've had a quote from BA (not exactly a bargain, but I'm still liking the idea of extending the holiday!!!!) and the villa is available.

So, to car hire.... (guess this should be directed to Roger?)

We are booked with Alamo (through uscarhire) and I read elsewhere on here that ammendments were covered in the cost and we would only need to pay the extra day rate. Is this still true??

The cost or our hire was £483 for 15 days (7 seat SUV) so 17 days would be (483/15 x 2) £64.40 extra. Our dates are from 19/08/11.

Does this sound about right??? Or is it not that simple??
