This was our first holiday to Florida and we got the Expedition through USCarhire and used Budget.

Great, great car! Loved every minute of having it. There were 7 of us travelling in this 8 seater and we had enough room. Cases went in the back a breeze and had no trouble with it thortughout the 2 weeks.

Fuel economy as expected was poor.

Such a shame we need 9 seats, hence a bus this year!!

Can recommend this type of car if US Car Hire still do them through Budget.

Hi Gary, did you have 7 suitcases? Future guests are needing a large vehicle and wonder if this would fit the bill. They are 7 people plus 7 suitcases.

I can second that the ford EXPEDITION is a great SUV very comfortable
we have been lucky to have one the last two visits ,
only 4 of us but we like a SUV as that's what we drive in the UK
Very useful with teenagers as they can have there own space and seat [msneek][msnwink]
we only have 4 cases got them in okay , don't know about 7 with all the seats used sorry

[/quote]7 cases would be pushing it i think but if some of those cases were bags then no probs as there is lots of room on the floor in 2nd row and you can squeeze bags into the sides whereas as cases are a nightmare.
