What if you don't like your hire car?

Hi

Just wondering if its possible to take a hire car back if you dont like it for example the seating position, or space etc

We will be hiring for 4 weeks, but when we arrive with two young kids after a longish flight we will probably be happy to take any car.

Will be booking with alamo who give you a choice, so the question is could we go back and swap for another car in the same category a few days later (full size) without incurring a penalty

I have swapped a car in the past when the cd player did not work, but not sure if you can do this just because you dont like the car

With have swopped before with Budget. The handling was terrible and I siad i did not feel safe driving it.

We have swapped before because we didn't like the car - that was with Budget

This is usually fine. We (nor Alamo, Dollar etc) cannot promise in advance that this will be OK, but I know many people do it and don't have a problem. You would probably be OK doing the swap at a local depot nearer to where you are staying. There is an Alamo depot at the entrance to Disney's Magic Kingdom where they usually have plenty of cars to choose from.
