Could someone help me get my head around the taxes payable in FL .

I understand that the taxes payable in FL are much less than in the UK .

As a potential E2 business owner what taxes would i liable to in FL ?

I understand that my accountant will inform me of all these in more detail later but i just wanted a brief idea of My liability and how it works when looking for suitable E2 businesses .

You can put much more though your business than you can in the UK. Many small businesses pay little or no tax. That is why it is difficult to buy a business as the embassy asks for tax returns showing a $60,000 profit and most businesses show break even on figures or even a loss. Happened to me twice - I found businesses which were doing well but with zero on tax return so no use for E2.
