For those visiting for Christmas you can uy Christmas crackers in both Walmart and Target this year. It's the first time I've spotted them on the shelf there, only place I saw before was Burlington coat factory.

Thanks for the tip. Had decided I did not have any room left in the suitcases so useful to know I can get some there.

There were asking people in TESCO were they over 21 years as it is against the law to sell crackers to under 21 yaers this year as classed as a fire risk new one on us.Its as bad as asking do you want some bags to put your food in.

You can take a box in your hold luggage... check the airline for their rules. I also saw them in Pier 1

Shirley,

I don't think that you are even allowed them in the hold luggage.

According to the airline (Virgin at least) websites you can take one box of unopened crackers in your hold luggage. You arent supposed to take cracker kits to make your own.

You can take them as hold luggage on BA we have done more than once and checked with them before we flew.

As for not being able to buy crackers before you are 21 it is taking things a bit too far.
