View Full Version : Staying less than a week?

Hi Again:
This planning process takes some doing!

My brother and his family (total 4 persons) may come with us. He can't commit right now.
All the villas show a weekly rate. Do most villa owners accept bookings for less than a week?
I was thinking of renting a larger villa in case he decides to come with me, but we're staying for almost two weeks and I'm guessing he and his family would stay for less than a week. Not sure it's cost effective for me, especially if he decides against it.

Thanks
Mit

Most owners will accept bookings for less than a week - you usually just pro-rata the weekly rate for the number of days but it's worth asking the individual owner of the home you are interested in to double check first.

It might seem to be a lot of planning and working out whether to get one large or two smaller villas covering different periods but you will have a wonderful holiday to look forward to and it will be worth the effort. If it is anything like trying to arrange things with my lot you will probably need a holiday before the Florida holiday to get over it:)

So do we - in fact we rarely have bookings for more than a week...

We are happy to take shorter bookings. Most Americans have far less annual leave than us, and often take smaller breaks.

We take bookings from 4 nights upwards, it helps people who might like a 2 centre holiday.
