is it getting more difficult to use travelers cheques ?[msnoo] we always use them. i know you can get pre loaded cards but i like to see what i have left to spend, i think it would be harder to keep track of your $ [msneek] what are people using now? after lyn's post won't be going to tesco [msnwink]
Donny there is another thread on this subject which has several answers on it, and yes, the answer does seem to be that fewer places will accept TCs.

We took cash with us last year and kept it in the safe at the villa, like you I like to know exactly what I have to spend on a daily basis as our spending money is budgeted. Cash worked out really well for us and we will be using it again when we go next time but lots of other people like the credit cards and FairFX cards. It is all down to personal choice.
