Disney Cruises

Hi Everyone, I've been busy watching for some decent flight prices for our annual trip to florida. Looking for April 3 to 17th 2011.
I am wondering has anyone done a Disney Cruise out of Cape Canaveral?
My Home will be paid off in May of 2011 and have Promised the family a cruise during our 2012 trip to florida. I are planning a week on a disney cruise then off to Davenport for 2 weeks in a villa. This will save on flights if we do it altogether. I am wondering if anybody had taken the cruises what are the best boats to take we have to girls which would be 11 and 7 by then. does anybody have any recomendations?

Disney cruises certainly seem popular but there are plenty of ships which also cater for children - Royal Caribbean for one. However, few ships cruise out of Port Canaveral. If you could drive down to Miami or Fort Lauderdale you would have a wider range of ships to choose from.

Avoid ships like Holland America or Celebrity which cater to an older population.

Norwegian Cruise Lines offer very flexible cruising where you can decide where and when to eat and whether to dress up.

However, most of the large cruise lines such as Princess, Royal Caribbean offer great kids facilities.
