The people in the villa next to us, up graded their tickets, at disney. They got 5 day tickets no hopping and up graded them for $5 a day and got park hopping on them free. Has anyone else heard of this ?

You can upgrade them at the ticket booths but I am sure it is considerably more than $5per day unless it was a special offer of some sort[msneek]
Correct me someone if I am wrong but I thought the hopping option was $50 irrispective of the number of days.
I'm trying to get a hold of the guy to find out exactly what he got.
Will let you know when I get a hold of him.
