I have John's permission to post this here

Tomorrow I am taking part in a Macmillan Coffee morning and I am doing a prize draw to win some wonderful Aloe Vera products.

If anyone would like to take part in the prize draw and make a donation to this wonderful charity please let me know. You can make a payment from as little as a £1 via the personal payment section of Paypal account luxuryfloridavillas@yahoo.co.uk

Many thanks [msnsmile2]

I too am a volunteer for MacMillan Cancer Support and have been for a number of years, I have spent the last two days baking victoria sponges and dozens of cupcakes with lovely sugar roses on them for the bake sale at the coffee morning tomorrow I have also spent the last few weeks making an infinite number of chutneys and jams for said event. If anyone can get to a coffee morning in their area tomorrow please do .... it is a really worthwhile cause.

Our Marks and Spencer are doing one today for every customer buying a coffee they are donating 50p (i think it is [msnembarrased]i didn't read it properly).
Us as staff are doing a cake bake to raise money and buy a piece on our teabreaks. Not much good for the diet but hay its for a good reason. :D

Well done everyone it is a charity close to many of us, we all know what good work they do.

Mary

What a day, we had a really good turn out for our coffee morning, I am absolutely exhausted. We even had a visit from the Head of Fundraising for the whole of the South of England which was a lovely if daunting surprise. All my cakes went which was a real bonus ! We don't know how much we have raised yet, it was still being counted when I left.

Off to do the local Michaelmas Fayre with the rest of the jams and chutneys tomorrow ... phew ...

Well done to everybody ...[msnsmile2]
