View Full Version : Car parking and hotel
We are flying with delta in december, so I presume the terminal for heathrow will be T4, can anyone give advice of what is the closest hotel and parking location.
Don't know if it is near terminal 4 but when we go to New York we always stay at the Park Inn and get parking included in the price of the room. The Park Inn is literally 2 minutes from the terminals. Last time we booked a car to take us to the terminal instead of using the shuttle bus and it only cost a couple of £'s more than the bus each way.

The Heathrow Hilton is the only hotel directly linked to T4. All the others require a cab or the overpriced and unreliable Hoppa bus. My favourite is the Sofitel in T5 and you can transfer from there to T4.
Lots of parking options but the nearer and more convenient they are, the higher the rate.
Have also stayed at the Renaissance parking included and had a room overlooking the runway at Heathrow. If you are staying at a hotel on the Bath Road you can then get to the airport using the normal
London buses which are free rather than paying for the hotel hoppa bus which is £4 each way.
This is due to a by law which does not allow hotels to 'ply for trade' for free which is why the Hoppas have to make a charge. If you take a look at miles faster you can get details of which airport hotels are serviced by which buses.

When we lave from Heathrow we tend to book the hotel and opt for the meet & greet parking option so that we can drive straight to the terminal and have the car delivered again on return. Find it very convenient.
