View Full Version : Strikes
If BAA do strike in next couple of weeks, what is the reality
If you are travelling from one of these airports have you lost your flight or will you be rebooked, then what about a refund who is liable
Also will other airports be affected,we are travelling Aug 26 flying from Gatwick

As I'm sure you know, Gatwick isn't a BAA airport so you should be absolutely fine. I suppose the potential impact on non-BAA airports will be that they'll get a whole lot busier.
I'm next out of LHR again in early September and anxiously awaiting the details of the strike plans tomorrow.[msnscared]
Reading between the lines here, I think a strike is extremely unlikely.

I hope you are right! We are due to fly out of Heathrow for a short break on Sunday 29th, so have everything crossed! [msnwink]
Its off, they have agreed a revised pay deal.

That's good news - now all I have to worry about is another BA cabin crew strike.[msnsad]
