Will be having a day visit to this area been once before to st petes bay , wondering whats the best beach also any big houses to see or any of those fantastic long bridges to cross, according to map that highway 92 looks interesting

We were in this area a couple of years ago. We thought the best beach was Fort De Soto Park which is south of St. Petes Beach. When we visited Clearwater we went out on a boat around the bay and there was quite a lot of big houses there, the guide pointed out who they belonged to, one was owned by Hulk Hogan I think!! The Howard Franklin Bridge on the 275 is about 4 miles long but only just above the waterline so is quite interesting. Don't think we went over the one you mentioned but we went over the other one on the 275 just south of St. Petersburg I think its called something like the Skyway Bridge, thats worth a visit very steep.
