Guess I am just looking for some reasurance before I go and book the car through uscarhire. I have never booked carhire for the US before and am responsible for everyone on this holiday. I have become been a bit freaked by the complexity of the different types of car insurance for the US and liked the idea of uscarhire insurance covering everything I need.

But does it?? Here in good old UK you get comprehensive and are sorted.... Is the cover offered by uscarhire as "comprehensive"??

Roger, hoping you can put my mind at rest![msnscared]

I am sure Roger will reply and assure you - don't worry about the scare stories of US car rental companies, USCarHire cover everything but it does need YOU to read all the small print on that site.

I confirm all required insurances are indeed included. Feel free to turn down any other insurance (such as enhanced personal insurance as your travel insurance should cover this).

I used us car hire last year and they were top draw.
Do the pre reg' option and you miss all que's,down to car hire lounge out and over the road and in the car within 10 minutes
Like i said its proper and what you need!:D

uscarhire includes all the insurance you will need, you may be asked to take out extra when you collect the car but you do not need it they are just trying to get more money out of you (that's the car hire companies not uscarhire) I would say go ahead and book with uscarhire, best price around and best service around.
