View Full Version : when does it get christmassy in florida
Hi everyone, i was wondering when it starts to get all christmassy in the theme parks, i usually go to florida around september 20th and their all ready to celebrate halloween well in advance, so this year were travelling to florida on 20/11 and was really hoping we might see some christmas parades and all the decorations and lights hanging, Ive been to eurodisney a couple off times around late november and they are all ready for christmas the perades are great and they have a show called mickey and minnies winter wonderland its fantastic and i was hoping they might have something like this aswell,??
The 'Holiday season' starts on Thanksgiving which is the last Thursday in November. So everything is normally finished and ready to go by then.
In the month before you can start to see things appear around the parks but most of the special events and shows do not start until this date.

I thought this might be the case, our last day there is Thanksgiving so hopefully we will see a bit of Xmas stuff.
Xmas at the DIsney Parks, and possibly Universal too, starts in early Nov.
Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party starts Nov 8th this year, The Osborne Lights at Hollywood Studios begin Nov 8th, Xmas around the world at Epcot begins mid Nov.
