Hi,

I put a request in for villas available for 04-11 Aug 2011 but only had one reply. Is this because owners aren't interested in only renting for one week?

Not too sure what size villa youput ina request for but I have not seen an enquiry from you because I would have replied. Are you sure that you did not make a villa specific enquiry because that would only go to the owner of a particular villa

Hi Claire, we rent for any number of nights and I think I speak for most, if not all owners they would do the same. Maybe widen your search.

If for example you requested a 3 bed (of which there are less) it may be worth going up a size as well as it's not uncommon for villas to book out well in advance. The fact that youu got one response would suggest that your email was entered correctly (sometimes they bounce).
Alternatively I would also suggest that you check your spam folder as it is possible that if you had a large number of replies saying "orlando villas" that your filter decided it was spam.

Hi Claire,

I have seen your request and unfortunately our home is already booked for those dates. This is a very heavily booked period being in the school holiday period for both the UK and theUSA, and a late request like this is quite difficult to obtain, especially as you do have specific requirements such as a themed bedroom, games room, play station and games consol. Quite honestly if you have such specifics then you really need to put a request in much earlier in the year, especially for a 3 bedroom home. Someone did say that there are not so many of them around.

However I do hope that you and your family get something suitable, but you may have to lower your expectations, best of luck.

I think you must have misread Claires request, as it is for 2011 and as you suggest she is looking in plenty of time for next year, which wil give her the best choice of options to suit her family. Good luck with the search Claire.

My request is for next year and thanks for all the replies. There are some beautiful villas out there and now I have to search through them all and see if any suits my family and our price range.

I am not specifically looking for a 3 bedroom villa, it is just that there is only going to be 3 of us going so don't really need a big villa.

Claire put your request in early as peak times do get book and then you get the villa you want .

As Maureen says, peak times do get booked up quite far in advance but by looking now you should have a great choice of the many fantastic homes available. Happy searching!!
