Travellers cheques

Hi

Just wanted to ask as we haven't been to Florida for a couple of years but are travellers cheques still as widely accepted or are more places asking for visitors to use the pre paid cards?

We still use Travellers cheques without any real problems.

We took travellers cheques last year and had a few problems at a few places (macdonalds springs to mind and I think as father stated the golden corral). Had a problem in Miami as the holiday inn we stopped at would only exchange $100 in TC's per day which was a problem on a sunday as we wanted to do watersports who only took cash........ I will be taken some cash and using my visa cards this year as most seem to recommend on this forum.

We had Travellers Cheques with us last October and had no problems whatsoever anywhwere.

Previous visit i had to show id in Carters at LBV Factory outlets.
