Hi all,

From experience, what 12 and 15 seaters vans have you had??

I know that Alamo 12 and 15 seaters are the same thing but what model do you get with the different suppliers??

Need one for March and the costs don't differ much so i can choose the best looking / most recommended on here.

Thanks in advance

I think we got a 12-seater through Thrifty last time we went (September 08) and were given a Ford E-350.

It was a great car/van. I was initially a bit scared of the size (I drove a Smart car at home at the time[msnsmile2]), but I soon got used to it.

Hi Garry:

I booked a 15 seater for the 1st weeks of June. There were 5 adults and 6 children, and god knows how many cases..!!!
got the the van I booked it was an E350 Ford. I did ask ALAMO if they could take the rear seats out so we could put all the cases in but they couldn't because of some H&S reason...so went back the desk and finally got 2 x 7 seaters which fitted with a squeeze but it worked..
The morale of this story is if you can get 2 people carriers..
Give me a shout if you want anymore info ...
Mark

Chris,

There's 9 of us going. 4 adults and 5 kids:

12 year old
9 year old
8 year old
2 year old
15 month old

We don't really want to do 2 cars as when we all go to the parks or the gulf coast then it will be twice the cost for parking and fuel.

The last 2 years there has been 8 of us so we've had a Ford Expedition and then a Chevy Suburban. Both absolutely perfect but 9 doesn't go into 8 so we're stuck with the school bus for this time!!!

To be honest, the parking spaces are so huge that it's feels just like parking a normal carin a normal space back home!
