On the I4 and then 434 west or north on Orange Blossom Trial you'll find Wekiwa Springs near Sweetwater, which we found by mistake whilst taking a drive around!
$4 per vehicle entrance fee, this has campgrounds, public barbecue and picnic facilities, very nice toilets, tot lot, plenty of parking and canoe boat rental. You can also swim there. Take your own drinks and food as there are no snack facilities or ice cream vendors! Lots of squirrels and geckos, trees and nature trails but you need to ask at the entrance for a map otherwise you'll get lost!
Sweetwater has some very upmarket home properties if you're into looking at these (we are!) and prices start at $230,000...
