I would like to take this opportunity to thanks the people @ US Carhire (Roger & Roulla) for the carhire we purchased.
When we arrived @ ALAMO I was worried we would get the big sales pitch but....we didn't. Handed over the voucher and the manager said that he could see we have everything we needed other advising us if we wanted to purchase roadside assist or the sunpass for the tolls. We took the sunpass as it was much easier to drive through rather than stopping to find change etc etc.
Once outside the airport we crossed the road and arrived at the ALAMO desk, and were directed to the 15 seaters..all at the far end of the garage..!!! Now this is where the fun begins..
We did ask for the back row to be removed as we had only 11 people travelling but need the space for luggage. When we opened the back doors the seat was still there, so we tried to load up with it in, but no luck.. I rtn'd to the desk explaining this but the guys said he wasn't able to remove the back row of seats for legal reasons, and advised me to try again packing everyone in. Once again it failed, so when rtn'ing the the ALAMO desk to advise him of this, he then said I will give you 2 * 7 seater vans for the same price. We just about squeezed everything and everyone in the vans and then departed for our villa...
On rtn'ing the van we had no problem at all, and the guy we rt'd the van to @ ALAMO was very polite.
All in all...very impressed with both parties in the car hire, will DEF use again..
