Insurance claims from the Volcanic Delay

Has anyone who was stranded back in amy had any luck getting any money back yet?
We're still waiting to hear back from Virgin and only just got a cliam form through from our insurer yesterday to allow us to try to claim back the extra car hire.

Robert is still waiting for his refunds from BA and have just seen on the news there are still a lot of outstanding claims

We had a package booked with Thompson to Majorca and had the money refunded within 3 weeks, not sure how it would have been if we had booked just a flight.
