Anybody bypassed the Alamo check in desks and used the kiosks at MCO to pick up there hire car , when arriving from the UK. I know they were not in operation in May, just wondered if they had opened yet.[
They are not officially available for agent bookings as yet but I have heard of a few people use them successfully.
We are just waiting on an official date from Alamo to say when (in 2010) these will be available to our clients.

We collected car from the main Alamo desk at MCO a couple of weeks ago - really quick and were in the car within 15 minutes of joining the queue.
Car was booked through this site - again an excellent service:D
Our vehicle (7 seater) did develop a problem the second day of the holiday, hubby was reluctant to drive it as we thought it was a brake problem. Quick phonecall to the vehicle assistance and they contacted Alamo on our behalf. Vehicle was exchanged at Disney with no problems at all - even got a free upgrade to an 8 seater !
Never used Alamo before, but would definitely use them again, especially given the price difference between them and Dollar.
