View Full Version : Age of Communities
Hello:
I was wondering if anyone had info on how old the villa communities are. Like the yr. the construction started on each community.
I have tried to search on this forum and others and on the internet and cannot find anything.
Thanks in advance

Not sure the reason why you want to know how old certain communities are, however if the relevance is that you only considering a newer home to rent over an older home, there is no real reason to choose the newer home over the older home. I would choose a home that has been well cared for by the owners, rather than purely on age. I know a number of new homes just built and the owners are not bothered at all on how the house is maintained, and is left to wear out very quickly, other the home built twice as early and is in immaculate condition.
Maybe if you could shed some more light on the question

Hi Donald, again not sure why you would need this information. If it is because you like to stay on an established community, you will also need to find out when the last phase was finished. Southern Dunes for example was started in the early 90s, but the last phase was completed only around 3 years ago.
As Shirley says, most communities were built in Phases, so there could easily be a 4/5 year difference between start and finish.
