Hi, Can anyone recommend a "Pie Diner" type place in Orlando that serves all the great sounding dessert pies I have heard of?? I am visiting the Kissimmee area next year. Thanks.

TRy the Cheesecake Factory at the Millenium Mall. But I agree that Perkins do great dessert pies. You can buy them to take out, their muffins are great too.

Cheesecake Factory for me every time. Don't be deceived by the name, they have a huge menu with delicious food and so many desserts to choose from!! Never ever been disappointed.

Cheesecake Factory for me too. However, if you fancy the best chicken and veg pie I have ever tasted then to go Mimi's at the Loop - Hubby calls it my Desperate Dan pie because it is a little on the large side but FULL of chicken and veg .....

Pie Diner type of places in Kissimmee are Perkins or Denny's. Both have a similar selection (like French silk, coconut, banana, lemon meringue, etc, etc) and you can take whole pies away with you.

You can get apple triangle turnovers (puff pastry) in Wal-Mart that don't have cinnamon in though. [msnwink]
