How long is a piece of string. I would have thought it could be done on around $150 - $200 per day average for food and drink(if eating out), much less if your frugal.
Gifts and shopping is whatever you want to spend.

Thanks is that 150 each or all 3 of us..i reckon we will have £2400 im quoting £1000 for food and the rest split between us so thats £466 on gifts and shopping does that sound sensible or is it quite tight ?

You will be amazed how cheaply you can eat, £1000 for 3 people for 2 weeks is too much, I don't think we spent much more than that on food when we went in April and we were 6 adults and one child.
In my (male) opinion, you'll be fine with your budget, especially if the $ stays as good as at the moment (or better, fingers crossed). You have around $4000, that's a lot of pizza!
Have a great time, enjoy yourselves, don't hold back.
I'm sort of assuming that you were talking £££, not $$$ when you say you have about £2400.

Hi dave yes it was pounds...oh thats very reasuring to know...im 21 and ive got m.e we went last year and i didnt really enjoy it as i was too ill so im hoping to make up for it..just didnt want to get out there and have like a strict budget...its cheap out there but the lure of the shops is all to tempting for me...Thanks again hopefully see you around the forum x
My husband, daughter [ aged 20 ] and myself were out a couple of weeks ago and found that we could eat out each night for around $60 for the three of us and that was in places like Chillis , applebees or mannys so we were not scrimping and going to the cheap places like the Golden Coral .
We went very last minute [ the day after we booked] and took only 1000.00 for the 3 of us for 1 week myself and my daughter bought a suitcase full od stuff between us and still came back with $200 , unles you intend to buy all your passes from that too as they can easily add up to around 1000.00 for the 3 of you if you intend to do Disney, Universal, Sea World, Busch Gardens.
Just enjoy your Holiday
We always reckon on $200 per day for 2 adults and 2 children. With food being the main spend of the day.
Generally we think that $200 a day is plenty. We do eat out most nights but don't order Starters Main and dessert each as its far to much for our English tummies. [msnwink] We would normaly order 1 or 2 starters, then order a main each and the kids may share, then if there's room for a pudding we would more than likely just order a couple to share. Saves on waisting food and saves on the pocket too to spend on other things.
