Does anyone know the difference between these two categories. I have just carried out a search on this topic and notice that the same car Chrysler 300 comes up in both categories.
We are looking for a nice comfortable car as there will be 4 people this time and we are not keen on the SUV's. Our preferred supplier in the past has been Dollar.
Hi.
Just hired a premium in Las Vegas with Dollar. Indeed they are both the Chrysler 300 but with the luxury it is the Chrysler 300 touring which unlike the UK where the touring is the estate version, in the USA the touring is a slightly bigger version of the saloon, different front grille, alloy wheels and a better interior.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Roger - it certainly is a nice looking car and is billed as "Muscle and Milage" so I am presuming power and a good mileage. The seating on the photos looks very comfortable so a definite option if they have them in service at MCO.

I agree Roger. The Charger is very good value (isn't it a Full Size?) and plenty big enough to seat 4 comfortably. I've rented both the Chryslers and the Charger in the past and didn't feel the Premium/Luxury cars offered that much more to merit the higher cost.
If you do go for a Charger, be aware that there's both 2 and 4 door versions available. For 4 of you, the 4 door is the way to go.

We were offered Chargers in the Alamo Full-size section in Kansas City, but we went for a bright red Buick Lacrosse instead [msnwink]. I'd say both are big and comfortable enough for a party of four who like their comfort.
I agree with KG, full-size is probably way enough to carry four people around in comfort, but we took a look at the Premium and Luxury sections and of course it's more upscale...

Only ever once hired a luxury car in Orlando (normally need more seats) - was from Alamo and it seemed to vary depending on what day it was. On the day I arrived the selection looked pretty poor, the choice was a cadillac CTS or a 300C - the chrysler was larger but was a very basic model.
Took the CTS but had to bring it back a day later with a problem with the rear seat, was allowed to swap it and that day they had a lovely 300C, this was much better spec (with leather and other toys) and was also the hemi version with the 5.7V8!
So it does appear to be a bit hit and miss in terms of what you'll get.
