Me and my family are going to florida on the 23rd August for 2 weeks and have booked a 7 seater SUV through uscarhire with alamo which we are collecting at Orlando Airport. Has anyone hired one of these 7 seaters in the past few weeks, and if so which vehicle have you got? Because I've heard that ones like the durango and aspen are not available anymore?

I picked one up on sunday but that was with budget. Got a Dodge Journey. nice enough but i prefered the durango i got last year and was hoping for a ford. Does not look like a suv in my opinion more like a large estate and has not got the height i would expect from and suv.

There was a lot of problems at MCO with budget regarding them not having the cars people had ordered, I was 3rd in the fast break line yet it took over a hour due to people shouting and arguing. I was just glad to get my car without any of the problems people before me had but I now wonder if a Dodge Journey is a 7 seat suv. To be fair it has got 7 seats but the dodge website classes it as a crossover and it is not listed with the suv's.

Does anyone know if I have been given a car in the right class?

I hired one last xmas and didn't get a dodge or chrysler back then either from Alamo...........got a Toyota Highlander which was fine but possibly not quite as spacious in the 3rd row as the others are.

Ye I actually got a toyota highlander last year but that was when I booked a standard SUV instead of a 7-seater SUV. It was actually a great car even with 5 adults and luggage as we didnt need the 2 third row seats. Very spacious! I would actually be quite happy if I got that vehicle again because there will be 5 adults again.

I think the Sienna comes under 8 seater mini-van. They are really nice cars, built to Tardis specs I think.
