budget car hire

i have booked car hire with budget collecting at Sanford in two weeks time. Are Budget as bad as most people saying? any positive reviews?. I will be adding an aditional driver is it best to pre register then add driver later at an off airport office? If so will i have to take a copy of my pre paid voucher? thanks

I have used Budget around three times a year for 10 - 12 years with little to no problems. Any problems have not been of Budget's making they could have happened with any outfit.

Admittedly have not used Sanford, generally Tampa and on a couple of occasions Orlando.

Things do go awry at times but I for one will speak up for Budget.

Our friends have used budget twice this year,havea nice new car and no problems or hard sell at all. they will use them again

We have used budget both at Sanford and Orlando International for a few years now with no problems. I would still print off your pre paid voucher but if you booked through this site you should refuse any additions other than stated on the voucher.

In light of the recent posts - double check when you sign any papers (no fault of hiring from this site as they have been extremely helpful to us over the years) but just as a precaution we will be double checking all that any car hire company ask us to sign.

We used them with no problems at all this year-registered for fast track, went to the kiosk-lovely car-no problemo

We've used them before and have booked our car rental with them tonight. We just make sure that we read what we're signing for (as we would with any rental company) and don't take any extras from the person at the desk.

We have used them a couple of times and had no problems at all. In fact when we had a puncture, they were at our door with a replacement vehicle within 2 hours. I was really impressed with this as we were in a ford expedition which is not one of the volume cars they stock.

Just read what you are signing, question anything you are unsure of and it will be easily as good as any of the hire car companies.

We rented a convertible with Budget this june, and got a problem the very first day (top wouldn't come off). We went to the closest office (Old Town), they hadn't any available, but they called road assistance for us and someone drove us another (nicer) within the hour. No question asked, no hassle.
Again, just read what you sign (actually the extra charges are pretty clearly stated on your contract, just make sure it says "no").

We have used Budget several times before and the only time we had a problem was last year and it was minor. Seemed worse at the time after the long journey but wasn't really

We used Budget in June for the first time and had a great car. Would not hesitate to use them again.
