Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon

Hi,

Can anyone tell me why typhoon lagoon shuts down over the Christmas period, we've been going every Christmas since 2006, and every time TL is shut for refurbishment and yet Blizzard is always open!!! We are hoping and praying its open this Dec 09 as we arrive 11th Dec - 3rd Jan 2010 any suggestions! [msnwink]

Personally I think it is because the water parks go quite tat this time of year, so it make financial sense to close one or the other down. Disney will say it is for refurbishment.
