Have done the gaylord palms for a couple of years, and the ice show both on christmas day, we have a lazy morning, and set off late morningish, do the ice show first and have had the lunhc booked for early evening. makes a great day out. without the huge hustle and bustle the parks usually have.

Great thanks, did you book/make a reservation early? we've been advised to book around October - this year we've decided not to hit Disney Christmas day just Epcot for the evening firework display - thanks [msnsmile]<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:Originally posted by CERICROWLEY

Ice tickets usually come out around october time, to book the dining reservation, they usually take reservations after thanksgiving. Keep checking their website, you will see when the tickets for ice are available

The Highwayman, the new British pub on 27 is doing a traditional Xmas lunch, think it is a choice of turkey or ham. There will be games for the kiddies also. Anyone interested needs to book, tel the owner Susie on 863 424 9674 (pub) or 863 557 9451 (cell phone).

We have attempted 3/4 times now to dine at The Highwayman including tonight with friends, but we don't like dining alone. It is a shame as Susie has put in a lot of hard work into opening the Pub, but unfortunately it seems to be very slow at taking off. The location does not help as you cannot see it from the road and have driven past the turning before you know it.

We have done the Gaylord Palms and the Peabody.
We preferred the Peabody more but the Gaylord Palms was also good.

Yes unfortunately the Highwayman closed down a couple of months back which is a great shame as we had a lovely Christmas lunch there last year. Yet another British run business in Orlando bites the dust.
