BA/Qantas are doing another Test Cricket deal. (Virgin did one last time)

<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:[u]Hot Ashes fare</u>
With the second npower Test at Lord's from July 16 to 20 July 2009, Qantas have teamed up with British Airways to offer return economy fares from London to Sydney based on first innings results.

The price of flights has been determined by Australia's first innings of 215, with availability of seats determined by England's first innings of 425.

Making 425 seats to Sydney available at £215*

The Qantas fares will go on sale from 8am (BST) Tuesday 21 July to Friday 24 July or until sold out. Availability will be strictly limited to 425 seats.

Fares will be valid for travel from 7 August to 22 September 2009.

Offer is limited to a maximum of 2 passengers per reservation.[/quote]

Can't put the link(not allowed) but look on Qantas.

Looks like they were expecting (understandably) that England wouldn't get too many runs while Australia would repeat their score at Cardiff.

Are the fares inclusive of taxes and charges? If not, it's an OK deal but not giveaway by any means for this time of year.

EDIT - I see it does include taxes and charges so a brilliant deal if you're quick.

Apparently BA & Qantas sold out in 20 minutes this morning.

All seats booked by disgruntled Aussie cricket supporters going home no doubt!
