Thought you might like to see some of our pictures from my birthday treat when we did trainer for the day.
We had the usual dolphin swim but you also get two extra swims and we got to go out the back and see where they prepare all the food for the day (dont realise how hard these people work not just on the food but how clean they keep everything for the health of the animals)
Met an owl/sloth and an ant eater during the day and instead of feeding the birds they have a couple of sharks that are in early days of training to interact with guests that we got to touch which was great.
You can ask as many questions throughout the day which the staff are more than happy to answer and had an absolutely fantastic day although we were really tired out by the end but learnt so much from the experience.

Thanks for posting Ali. Reminds me of what a brilliant day we had when we were TFD. I would recommend it to anyone who is keen on animals as it's a great experience. The dedication of the trainers is amazing.

so cute i would have loved to hold him but i got to stroke him.
Huge claws for gripping on and quite coarse fir to the touch.Beautiful eyes.Lovely to meet as i've seen them on the tv but never up close.
The anteater was facinating to watch eating from a tube - his tongue was so long!!

Thanks for the replys
