Alamo/Dollar two rentals

Hi all
I'm in the process of booking our car hire for our two week holiday next week. One quick question I'm stuck on - I'm planning on booking the main one week rental through uscarhire as usual and am collecting from Miami North Beach. Alamo is the most convenient and cheapest and I usually use these. The thing that is worrying me is I'm also booking a one day rental from Key West back to Miami (we're not keeping the car in the Keys) and the best price is through **** and Dollar (half the cost of uscarhire).

I'm not going to have enough money on my credit card for two lots of a $500 dollar deposits when collecting the cars and am worried that the first car hire (Alamo thru uscarhire) won't take the hold off the first deposit in time to allow me to collect the second car (Dollar thru florida) and put a hold on it again.

Anyone had this problem before? Am I causing myself probs booking through effectively four different companies...its just we're budgeting as tightly as we can.

For what it's worth, I've rented many times different cars one after the other (hopping from one city to the other by plane) and never had any trouble (once did Chicago, Kansas City, Las Vegas and back to Chicago).Actually I never even thought I could have a problem...[msnscared]. I'm not a Gold Visa member either [msnwink]. More knowledgeable people will probably come around and let you know.

About the cheaper price, just make sure you do have all insurances you need as a European (if you're one of course).
