I think Chelsea have their name on that.

If we ever get a stable manager Chelsea will be th eones to look out for next season.

Could have won it this year if it wasnt for that Bozo Scolari :(
Utd wasn't that far away. I dont think Liverpool will win it with Rafa, they probably got the best squad tho.

How sad that all the English non-MU fans have to revel in the Barcelona win. Considering that MU have reached the CL final twice in the past two years (without losing a single game until last night), and have won the EPL 3 times in a row, how poor does that make the rest of the Premiership teams?

Jealousy is very ugly :D

For those like me who remember when Liverpool were the best around, it seems so sad that these days the only thing their supporters have to celebrate is the occasional failure of their rivals.

I would have liked to see Man U win after we were robbed in the semi. If only the ref had been allowed to bring his guide dog on to the pitch it might have been so different.

However, they were rubbish yesterday and did not play anywhere near their potential.

We showed you how to play against Barcelona, but you did not learn the lesson.

I agree MU didn't play to anywhere near their potential against Barca, and that was hugely disappointing. Had the real MU turned up, it would have been a completely different game. And as Graham pointed out, Barca were hugely fortunate to even reach the final.

But any comments along the lines of "it just shows how far behind the Europeans English football really is" like I've seen in some papers/forums is just rubbish...all European countries would kill for a record in CL like the recent English one.

Anyway, roll on next season :D

I think it's fair to say that Barca were by far the better side in the final as they were in both legs of the semi.

The sun's headline was amusing - "Catalan v Matalan".[msncool]
[/quote]

Not quite sure how they were the better side in both legs of the Semi when they should have lost the Semi by 2 or 3 goals!!!!!!

It really is a question of the style of football.

The English game is based on power and tempo, Barcelona are all about possession and passing.

We can all argue about which style requires more skill, but surely most neutrals would prefer to watch the Spaniards play? Bear in mind also they had 4 first team players missing and MU only had Fletcher who is by no means an automatic choice.

As for the semi, well again Barcelona were the better side over the 2 legs, but Chelsea undeniably should have had at least 2 penalties.

I have a feeling the Cup Final tomorrow could be brutal!
