Hi Maureen - gald to see you on the forums!

We were there last May (early May) and the weather in general was really nice - around 85-89 most days and only half a day of rain. Most evenings were mild (mid 60s) but a couple of evenings did drop to high 50s which felt very cool compared to the hot day - we were glad of long trousers and long sleves in the evening.

Whatever the weather it's always wise to take a sweater/cardi or something to cover up with -it can get very cold in restaurants with the air con going full pelt.

Ok for the staff running around like mad things-but not for us sitting there for an hour or more!

May is a lovely time of year to go, we often go then. Experienced our best weather and the humidity isn't too apparent but don't get me wrong it can be very very hot this time of year too and as has been said you could do with a cardi for the evenings. Some restaurants are freezing - Fridays is always very cold even it's 100 outside.

Just come back from the villa (Mar 20th-April 5th)and the weather was 80 every day, sometimes a little cloudy but mostly beautiful. Never felt boiling hot as it can do in May and the one day I actually felt warm and glowing (ladies don't sweat!) the temperature was actually only 74 - it really depends on the humidity. But as Orlandobabe will tell you, the minute you get there put Channel 33 on and every 8 minutes you get a local forecast. Also keep checking the weather on the link on the home page of this site.

Have a great holiday and to everyone who is going end of April.
