We love Celebration and the resturant Antonios it is Italian very good also the Tavern has good fish meals .
You can spend half a day easy and a walk round the lake is a must also there now aq Starbucks .
At the front of the lake you can sit on rocking chairs and watch the wildlife .

Celebration is a lovely place to go if you feel like a bit of down time. It is very easy to find as it is off the 192, just before Kissimmee Old Town travelling east. Look for the water tower and follow the signs to Market Street.

It is a whole town complete with schools, hospital, business district and golf course. It was developed by Disney so it's a bit 'Stepford Wives'. The Home Owners Association is very strict for residents, even down to the amount of mulch they must have round their plants! As a result the town is immaculate and the houses like something from Ideal Homes magazines. Part of the regulations state that homes have to be decorated for holidays, so Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are especially good times to visit and drive round the streets.

There are shops, a cinema and places to eat or you can just sit in a rocking chair by the main lake and watch the world go by. It is worth a walk to the other lakes behind the main one to see the multi million dollar homes there. At Christmas it 'snows' in Main Street several times a night and during winter there is a farmers market on Sunday. The town has been beautifully laid out and as well as several lakes there are tracts of conservation land throughout.

We always try to visit when we are over as the town has a lovely atmosphere and is a very relaxing place to spend a few hours.

We recently passed a pleasant hour sitting in the rocking chairs by the lake watching two fishermen who were very successfully catching blue gills. They threw them back in of course, but it was fascinating to watch as there were lots of little turtles swimming around too. Its also nice to sit on the deck behind the Celebration Hotel.

We love Celebration as it is so quiet and peaceful.

Think we missed about 2/3 of Celebration when we went by the sounds of it. Passed some houses and saw a street of shops (off to our left on the way in) Try again next time[msnembarrased]

If you have children, then take some towels and a change of clothes, as there is a water fountail that the kids just love running in and out of.

Market St Cafe is a great way to start the day with a late breakfast, or lunch and sit outside wathcing the world go by. You can generally get to spot an alligator in the lake, albeit small ones!

Take a paper or a book and sit on the free rocking chairs by the lake. Great place for a couple of hours or so.

Market St Cafe is good as are the other restaurants in Celebration. There is also a 2 screen cinema.

We had breakfast at the Market St Cafe the other day it was very good as usual. Then went for a wander round the lake, wathced the children running in and out of the fountains and sat on the rocking chairs reading a book spent a good few hours there it was lovely. I would certainly like to live there if I won the lotto!

We also loved Celebration on our last visit and we plan to visit again on our next trip in a few weeks time. We thoroughly enjoyed & can recommend the breakfasts and lunches at Market St Cafe.

The lovely thing about celebration is that most places you can eat out doors if the weather is fine and not too hot, which it seems to be on the majority of our visits[msnsmile]
